Once again a heartfelt thanks to those who made West Side Story come alive - the cast of actors who made it so real it still lives on, 50 years later...Kat

Hey, Kat! It's good to see you posting here again. Your points are well said. The people who said that there would never, ever be another film like West Side Story again were right on their money! I'm hoping, praying and keeping my eyes and ears peeled for another movie theatre screening of West Side Story in my area, or that's reasonably close by.

Hey Adam and Miki,

Thanks so much for posting. I hope to run into Adam at more books signings. And I spent my youth and teen and even early adult years looking for my Action. And you can imagine how i felt when I was lucky enough to meet the real deal.

Hi again, Susan!

You're welcome!

Thanks for your cool reply. I've enjoyed posting here so far. It must've really given you a rush of excitement when you did meet the real deal regarding Action! Due to my intense love of West Side Story, I'm hard-pressed to find any favorite character(s), but I've got afew "Ices", "Riff"s and "Tonys" as friends.

Hi, Adam!

Thanks for your great post on how you came to love West Side Story. I, too was a kid in elementary school when I was first introduced to this great musical through the Broadway stage production soundtrack, at day camp out west. I'm glad you go to booksignings every now and then. Since we live on the opposite sides of the country, we'll never meet each other at any book signings, but it's cool to correspond online with other West Side Story fans.
